• Cotton Fabric
• Canvas Fabric
• Ribbon
• Wood dowel

Tools and Notions

• Sewing machine  
• Industrial sewing machine
• Rotary cutter and Mat
• pins or clips
• matching thread
• bodkin and threading tools
• button hole foot 
• wood dowel 

I used cricut vinyl to add numbers and words to my Advent calendar

• Cricut cutting machine
• Cricut Vinyl

The pockets are the perfect size for a small toy or piece of candy!

Measurements

• Cut 5 – Pocket piece – 29″ x 7 1/2″
• Cut 1 – Backing piece – Approx 24″ x 30″ (you can adjust the height of this measurement depending on how much room you would like at the top for hanging, or words.
