We are going to disney world!! yay!!!  and my number one fear of traveling is… loosing the passports! ugh…  i hate that tiny bit of anxiety that looms over you to make sure you put them somewhere safe at all times! always checking my bag to make sure it didnt some how slip out of the 2 secured zip pouches i placed them in… counting 1 2 3 4, 1 2 3 4

So my goal is to have one spot where i can fit 2 to 4 passports

cut 2 pieces 6 1/2″  x 9 1.4″ 1 outer fabric, 1 inner fabric

cut 2 pieces 6 1/2″ x 6 3/4″  Pocket pieces

For this project i used cotton and canvas, for the cotton pieces i would recommend using a medium weight stabilizer

Take the two pocket pieces and fold them in half

Top stitch down the folded edge

Place the pocket pieces on the lining fabric, make sure the sides are all lined up perfectly

Place the outer fabric on top with the right sides facing the pockets *Note the fusible stabilizer on the back of the cotton cut 1/2″ smaller

Sew around the perimeter leaving a 2″ gap at the centre of the bottom, slip the corners off being careful not to cut into the stitches

Flip the entire thing right sides out and press, top stitch all around the edges closing up the turn hole

And then your done! it turned out perfect and can easily fit 2 or 4 passports and in my case i just need 2 passports and 2 birth certificates for my little ones
