Recommended Yarn – Baby sport or worsted weight, but also looks beautiful in mohair yarn as well

Recommended Hook Size – 5mm

Round 1 – Magic Circle, 10 DC in the centre of that circle, slip stitch into 1st stitch to complete the round (10)

Round 2 – Ch 2, 2DC in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch to complete the round, (20)

Round 3 – Ch 2, *1 DC in next, 2 DC in next, * Repeat till the end of the round, slip stitch to complete the round (30)

Round 4 – Ch 2,*1 dc in next, 2 dc in the next, Repeat from * till the end of the round, slip stitch to complete the ground (40)

Row 5 – Ch 1, sc in next stitch, Hdc in next, dc in next 32 stitches, hdc in next, sc in next, Flip the piece and work backwards

Row 6 – Ch 1, 1dc in each stitch (36)

Row 7 – Repeat 5

Row 8 Repeat 6

Row 9 – Repeat 5

Row 10, Ch 1, 1 sc in each stitch across (36)

Row 11 – Repeat row 10

From here Single crochet the edges all the way around, start at one corner of the bonnet so when you finish you can continue creating the tie,

Tie is about 4o chains in length, sc all the way back up to the bonnet, create a second tie on the opposite side

Tie can be made in any fashion weather its loose strands, or ribbon! Use your imagination
