Crochet Donut Bunting Banner pattern | Charmed By Ashley

Crochet Donut Bunting Banner pattern

Donut Crochet Pattern

For this tutorial i used a 5MM hook

Start with a Chain of 15

Attached to the first chain to create a loop

We will be working with HDC (Half double crochet)

Chain 2, *2 HDC in the first 1 HDC in the next, *Repeat till the end of the round, slip stitch into top of chain 2 to complete the round

Chain 2, *2HDC in the first, 1 HDC in the next, *Repeat till the end of the round

slip stitch into the top of the chain to to complete the round

Next Round we will be changing the colour of our yarn for the donut portion, do not cut the first yarn as we will continue using it at the end. keep the first yarn forward as you start the next round

(for clearer instructions refer to the video tutorial linked below)

**WORK IN BACK LOOP ONLY) Attach the new yarn and chain 2, *HDC in the first stitch and 1 HDC in the next 2 stitches, *Repeat till the end of the round

slip stitch to the top of the first Chain two to complete the round

Chain 2, *HDC in the first 2 and 1 HDC in the next three stitches. *Repeat till end of the round

Slip stitch into the top of the chain two to complete the round

Chain 1, 1SC into each stitch, try to keep them a little looser, slip stitch into the chain 1 to complete the round and then Fasten off

continue on with the first yarn into the front loop of that round 2, Chain 1 into the first loop, * skip a stitch do 4 single crochets into the next stitch, skip a stitch and slip stitch into it, Chain one Repeat till end of round, slip stitch into first loop and fasten off

Using the yarn from the other donut create sprinkles (aka random stitches) all over the “icing”

If you are making it into a bunting

Chain 66, 5 single crochets into the top of 1 donut, chain 27, 5 single crochet into the top of the next donut, Continue with 27 chains between each donut finishing off with 66 chains at the end

Fold the tails over 3 inches and tie into a random chain to create a loop for hanging
