place right sides of lining together, place right sides of outer fabric together
sew all around leaving the notches alone, leave a 4″ gap in the lining piece.
when doing the notches next to the zipper, line up the seam of the bag with the zipper and do that with the lining on the other side, you will be sewing through the outer fabric and the lining fabric and the zipper at the same time, add the tab ontop of the zipper with the loop inside and the raw edges lined up with the edges of the notches. (to get a better look refer to the Video tutorial)
