Burlap Dish Cloth

This is a great do it yourself project, take your microfiber dishcloths and add some burlap to it to give it some scrubbing power

To keep this project Low budget i got my microfiber cloths at the Dollar store and at some dollar stores you can get small rolls of burlap!

Make any size you like, a full microfiber cloth or a smaller size

Adding absorbent material between the layers and create a sponge

100% Washable and eco friendly as you wont be throwing away dirty old sponges

To create the Sponge i use a layer of microfiber cloth, burlap and Zorb (Zorb can hold 10x its weight in liquid and is used in baby diaper inserts)

Layer the 3 pieces, burlap, microfiber and then zorb

Sew around all four sides leaving a 2 in gap on one side for turning

Flip it right side out and then do a top stitch around all 4 sides to close up the hole

you can add quilting or another square line of stitching in the middle to keep everything in place
