How to sew a kangaroo apron

The tutorial

In Just a Few Hours, You Can Sew Up a Cute and Useful Half Apron With My Free kangaroo apron Pattern

Aprons are one of the best sewing projects for beginners because they’re so quick and can teach you many sewing techniques. You can choose to make a simple apron or you can choose to make an elaborate detailed apron.

Today I’m sharing the pattern for a kangaroo apron, a different take on an apron with pockets. This apron is so cute and useful and has a nice large panel on the front that can be easily decorated with embroidery, HTV vinyl or just some really cute fabric like this stinking cute avacado christmas fabric.

Holiday baking just became so much more fun with this adorable and festive apron!

I do enjoy a frill or two once in a while but you can easily take this sewing pattern and make a more masculine apron by using a different type of fabric and omitting the frill

I made this very handsome apron with some denim and cotton fabric.

Recommended fabrics

*For lighter weight fabrics such as cotton adding some medium weight interfacing to certain areas such as the waist bad and the front pocket will help give it nice shape.
