Easy Crochet Cat door hanging toy
this pattern is very similar but not the same as the pattern over at lion heart brands
I made this toy with cotton yarn and a 5mm hook
begin with your chosen colour and 6 sc in the centre of a magic ring or chain 2 and 6 sc into the second ch from hook
R2 – 2sc in each stitch, finish rd with slip stitch (12)
R3 – ch1, *2sc in first, 1sc in next, *repeat around, sl st ,(18)
R4 – ch1, *2sc in first, 1sc in next 2, *repeat around, sl st (24)
R5-R7 – ch1, 1sc in every stitch, sl st (24)
R8 – Ch1,* sc2tog, sc1 in next *Repeat sl st
R9 – ch1, sc2tog the whole row
Close up the hole, fasten off or continue you with a chain for your squiggle tail
ch 21 for a short tail (floor toy)
Ch 41-61 for a door handle toy
3sc in each stitch all the way to the end of the ch
to make a strap make a slip knot on your hook, ch as many stitches as fits around your door handle or around your wrist attach the ch ends to make a loop and sc in each stitch, when you get to the end of the ring tie off and secure onto the end of the squiggle!
